Lay bets are always represented in red columns. On a football match and a classic match odds bet, the lay options are represented in the three red columns, the first being for laying Team 1, the middle one being for laying the Draw and the last one being for laying Team 2.
To lay a bet means to support that something specific will not happen and bet against it at agreed odds, such as the match not ending in a Draw. In this case, any other outcome apart from the match ending in a draw will be victorious for the lay bet.
To place a lay bet as such:
1. Select a football game
2. Choose Match Odds market
3. Find the columns dedicated to Draw and click on the red box with the odds offered
4. If you agree with the odds offered, leave the field as such, if you do not agree with the odds, type your own in the odds field
5. Place the amount of money you wish to bet on in the stake field.
6. See your liability (the amount of money you are willing to risk to lose) and check that the odds are correctly put and you agree with everything
7. Submit your bet
8. Wait for it to be matched by a backer.
If the match ends in a draw, you lose your bet and you pay out the liability amount. If either of both teams wins the game, then your bet wins and you receive your profit.
In the same manner you can place any other lay bet for any other sport and type of bet. All you need to do is select the sport and type of bet, and then bet against an outcome by clicking on the respective red box, agree with the odds or offer your own, place your stake, check your liability, submit your bet, and wait for a backer to match it.
The more people are betting on a market, the more possible it will be for a bet to be fully matched.
